The Gate Between

You, Fairest Lady,
are the Gate Between
Two Hearts, Two Paths,
Two Pastures Green;
two intoxicating extremes
of deep devotion and fierce freedom.

All contradictions
in You meet;
the bowing head,
the dancing feet;
Your Sacred Friendship,
true, replete with Wisdom
and with Whimsy.

1. As the tender of the sacred threshold, Brigid is walking with us through this time of wonder and awe. So much is unknown but the way is continuing to be revealed.

   This reading from Matthew (The Message) has become our touchstone and I know Brigid is as well ☘️♥️

   “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”
