Belonging Is Immediate

Belonging is Immediate
Becoming one who believes
That they belong
Takes a long, long time
Due to all that works
To undermine the Truth
Of who and Whose we are
The greatest enemy
Often found within
Our own minds
And institutions
With false signs
Advertising as houses of God
With membership exclusive
And real love elusive
The Living Spirit of Christ
An Intrusive Presence
Turning over tables
And stripping the labels
That rank and divide us
That He may hide us
In His Wounds
Where Belonging is Immediate.
